"I am excited to join as the new youth worker for The Gap in Sutton Coldfield. I am already feeling the warm welcome from volunteers and staff.

My experience comes from working with young people at Base 25 Wolverhampton collaborating on joint work groups including job application, safe keeping, anger management and mental heath awareness with face to face sessions as required. I have lots of enthusiasm to share my pool skills and playing cards especially Uno. I am solution focused and aim to engage and help develop positive opportunities for the young teens attending here at The Gap, to empower and mentor existing and new young people aged 12 to 18. The Gap Venue is a safe place to communicate with empathy and compassion.

Anyone of that age group would be very welcome to come down on open drop-in days Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 3.30 and 5.30. Please check our website and social media for further information.
