Fundraise

Have some FUN in Fundraising

Over the years:

Mountains have been climbed

Fun Runs have been run and walked

Coffee mornings have been brewed

Cakes have been baked

Silly costumes have been worn

Uniforms have not been worn (but casual clothes instead)

Local schools, clubs and businesses have nominated The Gap as their chosen charity.

All with a view to raising funds and helping local young people.

If you feel you can support The Gap but don't know how, please get in touch with us about ways and ideas for fundraising on our behalf. We are happy to help.

We would love to see all the different ways people can fundraise for us, so remember to share your

photographs on social media and tag us.

Can you help support The Gap?

Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising

Corporate partnerships and fundraising is a powerful way to impact local communities and make a real difference.

By joining forces with The Gap, you can directly support young people showing your business cares about the local community.

This is also an excellent way to engage and inspire your team while demonstrating your values in action.

Whether it’s an adventurous team challenge like scaling a mountain, a team-building day making skate boards or a relaxed laid-back homemade cake and coffee morning in the office, these events help build stronger connections with colleagues and clients in a new positive way.

Staff may want to volunteer directly in one of our projects and you can give time off for volunteering.

You may want to sponsor a project, an event, games, equipment or branded clothing for youth workers and volunteers out in all weathers.

Ready to make a difference together?

Partner with The Gap and we can change lives!

Charity of the Year

A unique chance to make an impact while boosting CSR and staff satisfaction. Benefits to your business:

  • Skill Sharing: Offer your team’s unique skills to support The Gap.

  • Fundraising Events: Engage your staff with exciting challenge events.

  • Awareness: Increase mental health awareness within your business.

  • Volunteering: Give staff meaningful ways to get involved.

Match Funding

Match pound for pound any fundraising. Double the funds, double the difference!

For example if staff raise £1,000, you match it by contributing another £1,000, leading to £2,000 for the charity.

Payroll Giving

Provide regular giving to help change the lives of young people.

  • Set up the payroll scheme.

  • Give employees the opportunity to opt into this worthy opportunity.

  • Make deductions each time you run payroll. The donation will be taken from your employees’ pay before tax but after National Insurance.

Sutton Coldfield Golf Club

The Ladies Section selected The Gap (Midlands) as one of those supported charities, recognising the organisation’s vital work with 12 to 18 year olds. Their dedication to providing support and stability for vulnerable youth resonated deeply with the club members

Guided by a commitment to both the sport and their local community, the Ladies Section has organised a varied programme of fundraising activities over the past year. Events such as summer barbecues, clothing sales, cake sales and raffles have encouraged participation from club members and guests alike, helping to raise funds for a number of local charitable causes.

A cheque for £1,600 was presented in October 2025 and very gratefully received. Thank you.
