The Gap was established in 2008 for our young people. We seek to engage with, invest in and empower young people in Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding areas,
Every young person deserves a chance to succeed. We are committed to empowering them to achieve their dreams.

We look to step into "the gap" between exclusion and acceptance, between condemnation and understanding, between apathy and hope.

We are like a family, spanning the generations, and supporting one another. A family of Gapster's.

We seek to demonstrate by what we do, that actions really do speak louder than words.​​​​​​

Funding
The Gap is a charity that relies on external funding. Sadly we do not have a profit sharing investment portfolio to generate an income.
​
90% of our income is from one-off external grant applications. But there are no guarantees.
​
10% of our income is from regular monthly donations from private individuals and local churches.
