The Venue drop-in houses a small recording studio facility. The Studio is the home of the GapChat podcasts. Over the past few years we have developed GapChat, where young people talk about a wide range of issues and topics that relate to them, their environment and their relationships. We encourage young people to share their views and listen to one another.

We have also been collaborating with local organisations to help them promote their services and give their service users a voice.

The recording studio provides music, podcast, rap and song writing recording services free-of-charge for any of our young people.

Booking The Studio
The Studio is available during The Venue opening hours. Sessions are supervised and there is a booking system so that we can manage the number of people, any instruments being used and the proposed content in advance. The Studio is free to use and is only available for young people aged 12-18 years old.
