Every young person deserves a chance to succeed and we are committed to empowering them to achieve their dreams.

Since 2008 The Gap has been supporting teenagers in Sutton Coldfield and the local areas with a drop-in centre called The Venue, as a safe space after school. The Gap also runs the HeadSpace project for teenagers with one to one mentoring in local secondary schools. The Gap are involved with other community projects promoting good mental health and wellbeing for teenagers to help them better live with a challenging life.

Teenager

What do the young people think?

"The Gap were there for me when I had no one and they are still here supporting me and motivating me.  I have come along way and a huge part of that is down to every bit of support the Gap have provided.

I felt valued and that I was being listened to for the first time in

my life."
